Santa Croce – Cases & Bangles

In 2008 I discovered Florence and Milan. What has been revealed to me by these cities is a fascinating balance of historical and contemporary Italian culture. I have experienced this, in part, through my collaboration with Scuola del Cuoio in Florence. Through this, I am pleased to embrace new works which are influenced by Italian history and the culture of fashion and industrial design of the present. The exhibited “Case Forms” and “Bangles” are outcomes of my week-long residency at Scuola del Cuoio contingent to the tombs of Michelangelo, Galileo, and Machiavelli at Santa Croce.
